“We’d had a fantastic lunch on our last trip to Cartmel which influenced our overnight stay to break our journey home and we were not disappointed! We arrived to a warm welcome, and the most amazing and relaxing room. The bed was soooo comfortable along with a spacious bathroom. We had another fantastic meal in the evening meal; very seasonal with what I feel would be daily changes depending on market availability. There was a fantastic selection of beers and wine along with a whole of host……

“We stayed in room 11 which was lovely, decorated well and had a very large bathroom with a free standing bath. Breakfast was great with a good choice. Lisa was extremely helpful and having the option to be taken and brought back from nearby restaurants was an added touch, as well as the electric charging points”

“Lovely property, amazing staff and fantastic breakfast - everything you could want for in a luxury b&b. Perfect romantic short break for a couple and highly recommend the deluxe garden rooms with private hot tub.”

“Top class rooms, entry, location. Very minor point, private terrace area could do with improved seating but we used our own camping chairs so not a problem. Tesco express a few yards away was excellent. An excellent spot to stay.”

“Lovely quiet location on the edge of Cartmel with good road connections to the tourist areas of the Lakes. The place was spotless and well equipped but they really do only include bedding, towels and loo roll. Whatever else you need make sure you take it with you. It lacked hanging space for clothes in the bedroom and any place to put your cases. We were surprised it was a semi detached building, we could hear a lot of noise, especially doors closing in the attached unit. I would still recommend……

“The location is perfect with easy access & a car park at the back (payable) & also a tunnel going through to the promenade, perfect for a stroll. The view from the bay fronted room was stunning; highly recommended. The staff are all very hard working but courteous at all times & can't do enough for you. The food is good & reasonably priced. The poached eggs and mushrooms I had for breakfast was delicious! The place is in need of some TLC & refurbishment is clearly ongoing but my room was……

“Lovely position and inside rooms were good. The let downs were the outside areas entering the property the steps were grubby and dirty so a bit offputting, also the outside patio area was unusable due to it being overgrown and dirty. INSIDE the only fault was lack of tv information and no visable welcome book in veiw. We found the book just by chance a black book on a black stool in the corner of the kitchen.put it in full veiw”
