"The room booked originally said shared dormitory for 2 on the hotels .com app but when we arrived it was a room shared with 2 other males which was not acceptable. The lovely man on reception helped us to change to a double room but obviously it cost more but the room was very good and spacious . Check your booking carefully to avoid this mistake . There is a public onsen which was great There are no showers or baths in the room but a toilet . The bus stops outside the road leading upto the guest house and it is only a short walk to the lake and the main tourist attractions at Togendai . Restaurants nearby are open in the evening but close early . We had no problem finding something to eat . It is in a beautiful location"
