“We accepted the fact that we booked this condo with nothing to do on this island. This particular condo was janky. The overall layout and view at this building is great. I paid a hefty cleaning fee to stay here too. The entire space smelled like undiluted cleaner when we walked in. But oddly, nothing was clean. We tried to air it out, but there were holes all over the screen to the balcony. So it was bugs all night or the smell. The towels reeked; like they were washed without soap and left in……

“This was the perfect location for hosting a bachelorette party. Close to town but still semi-included. Host was great and notified us once the place was ready prior to check-in time and also allowed us to keep our car at the home a few hours after check out. The home is very spacious and receives beautiful natural lighting during the day. Deck was great, kitchen was stocked, and furniture was comfortable. “This place was in a nice community, but the house was a dump. It was difficult to find and not very clean. There was a hole in the shower surround, the bikes were rusted, and there was a window and door that were obviously almost broken, upon arrival. The owners will charge you an arm and a leg if you don't take the trash out, place the used sheets on the floor, put dishes away, etc. We will not be staying at this vrbo again, but will be returning to Middle Bass Island.”

“We wanted a summer getaway and this was a perfect place to stay since we didn’t plan to stay inside. It is small but not uncomfortable small. Futon was comfortable as was the bed. We had a family get away and didn’t “party”. Our neighbors were extremely respectful. The yard was perfect for the dog.”

“The condo was nicely furnished and also clean. The view was the absolute best part. You do have to walk by a very rowdy, loud crowd to get there but once you are back into the condo building it was quiet. Most places we rent normally have standard amenities such as soap, small samples of shampoo, coffee, sugar, small creamers…so we were surprised this condo did not. Also!!! IMPORTANT! 4 out of the 5 times we really needed a shuttle we could not get one. There is only ONE shuttle for Hazzards on……

“This was an old trailer in poor condition not a cottage. Loft bed was stained and smelled like urine as well. Would not let my 3 year old up there. Hot water only lasts 3 minutes so had to take cold showers. The water smelled unpleasant. Couch should have been replaced 10 years ago. Center sinks in. No wifi so the TV would not work. The photos of this place are very deceiving, neighbors are within 20 feet and it's a trailer park. Pool on the property was decent. 1/2 price for the week would……

“Wonderful comfortable property with plenty of space. 1.5 bathrooms. The owner was also quick to respond with any questions I had. The camera announcement a little strange the first day, but we got used to it.”

“It was a nice weekend and area to hangout with friends and celebrate my brother getting married! The check in process was super simple and Michelle was very responsive to any questions we had during the weekend. Plenty of rooms and beds to accommodate bigger groups! Within walking distance of the lake, pier, basketball, tennis, and pickleball courts. Plenty of places to eat in the area and coffee shops. The cottage had plenty of amenities, made the experience simpler and more relaxing. Highly……

“We loved staying at the Glass House! There were 5 of us and we had plenty of room. It was very clean. Everything we needed was there. The large open kitchen/living area was very comfortable and conducive to visiting with friends. Also there were plenty of areas indoors and out to hang with friends or have some quiet time on your own. The lake and bay views are incredible!! We will most likely rent it again in the future.”

“I am a very clean and picky person. I bring lysol wipes with me everywhere I go and rewash dishes. But, this was one CLEAN house. Blew my expectations out of the water in many ways. My one and only complaint was dust in the vents but that is only due to an allergy. This house is absolutely adorable and in the perfect location. “I was really surprised at how spacious and nice the room was. The view is awesome and the pool area with the outdoor bar overlooking the lake looked awesome although we were not able to use it this early in the year. Staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again. ”
