Beautiful property

We enjoyed our stay very much and the house had everything we needed. It was also beautiful. The only downside of our trip is the location which is of course our own fault for not researching enough. Not enough to do nearby and everything was really far away. However, it was a nice little getaway from all the noise and busy life.

Awesome Labor Day weekend get away

Bear foot lodge in rumbling bald was a great place for our family to meet up with my mother in law and two nephews for a long weekend. The house is a fun cabin in the woods with a wonderful back deck. Rumbling bald has everything we could ask to keep a 4, two 7, and one 16 year old happily occupied. Great trip!

Christmas Vacation

The bad: No internet and no help getting it restored. Was told the home owners were just there the week prior and the internet didn’t work for them either, but nothing seemed to be done to restore it before our stay and we were not told about it until after it went out on us on day 1. Spent the rest of our stay over Christmas week with 10 people unable to connect devices and new presents and due to the location, we only had 1 bar of cellular signal at any given time. Front desk was minimally helpful and didn’t seem interested in solving the issues other than sending out a maintenance man who, while very nice, had no idea how to fix it. After about the 4th phone call, we were offered a small gift card to use on the property and a downgrade to another home with internet but no hot tub and a worse layout. Upstairs bedroom by fireplace has the hardest bed I’ve experienced. The couch in the main space upstairs is uncomfortable and feels like falling into a hole. Hot tub did not work even though it was shown in the pictures. The good: The house was beautiful and arranged nicely for our party. Plenty of seating and food prep area. We enjoyed the fireplace

Relaxing vacation

The property was great overall, really enjoyed the wilderness, the house was very spacious and laid out well for our group. Could have been better: The porch and porch furniture looked as though it had not been cleaned in a while and the all the beds were very squeaky which was a complaint by all.
