"Very nice boutique style hotel in the heart of Downtown Oakland. Near Lake Merritt along with countless restaurants, shops, and public transport. The room was cute, plush and comfortable with new linens, courtyard was super cute. Staff was friendly and even provided pre-check in which was seamless. Would definitely stay again!"

"I loved this property ! The gym and pool were awesome. The atmosphere is great and love that they have valet!!!! The room was super nice and they sent pushy see check out if you need a few minutes due to the fact that the luggage carts are low in number. They are all so nice and friendly. "The rooms were clean and surprisingly spacious. Big bathroom, the sink is oddly small, though, it could use an update. The shampoo and conditioner, smelt great. The last but not least is the employees, they are super friendly and helpful. When I my car didn't start, on my check out day. The front desk man let me use his personal jump start kit to get my car going again. I am so grateful for people like this, helping out when they can, even when it's not included in their job description. Bless...

It’s right in the center of Alameda near Oakland as well and it’s just a beautiful location there’s near the water. I would highly recommend staying here anytime it’s financially economical and a great place for business or pleasure."

"It's a very good deal, overall. I had the unfortunate experience of a guy trying to strong-arm his way into the place as I came back from the store. There was a lot of ranting and raving, and capitulation. The place is kind of nice though, really. I woke up to like 6 herons just kind of hanging out outside my window. Very cool stuff! It could use a solid cop or two, but the employees do their best. I think it has a pool, but I never got the chance to check it out. The location is excellent."
