“I surprised my wife for our anniversary weekend. Some people like to go to big cities and celebrate, but we would rather go someplace to get away from everything. This is the place. Drove up to the property and was greeted with 3 does and a rafter (flock) of wild turkeys. Yes, we had to look up what a flock of turkeys is called. The place was awesome. Lived up to everything. Even supplied firewood for the fire pit. The only downside we had, as my wife said, it was only for a weekend. We will be……

“Very natural setting. Best porch sitting ever. St Marks River is your front yard. The house well stocked with necessities. Like visiting your grandmother’s house. Very cosy and sweet. Hope to come back again.”

“We chose to celebrate Easter with our daughter and her roommates, bringing them a home cooked meal. Staying in the home were 6 adults and a dog, but the 4 students from FSU joined for a meal. The kitchen was sufficient to cook a full holiday meal, with a bit of creativity regarding what went in the oven together. Our dog really enjoyed the fenced in backyard and made “through the fence friends” with the dogs next door. We enjoyed being able to relax and enjoy the beautiful spring weather in……

“We stayed at this property while visiting Tallahassee for an FSU game, and found this gem about 40 minutes away from the stadium. The property is at the top of what seems to be an apartment complex with about 7 other units with tenants. It is a small unit, with a very cohesive interior design with beautiful updated fixtures. The unit itself was very clean and tidy. The inside space is a bit on the small side, but there is a very good use of space. The surrounding area was very quiet and peaceful……

“Beautiful views, great fishing, very nice and clean condo! The only con is a lot of steps but if you’re young you won’t mind. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back!”

“This home had everything we could have needed. Even plenty of extra linens. We greatly enjoyed kayaking all over the area as it’s nice and calm and wonderful wildlife to observe. The bald eagle catching and struggling to carry dinner to land, an osprey carrying its small dinner, a skate going under the kayak, and more. Great family time playing cornhole, basketball and board games out on the deck. We look forward to repeating a stay here again next year.”
