"I thought the common areas, reception, restaurant etc. were very well maintained and looked updated. The grounds are kept clean and cover a large area. They have multiple pools but unfortunately 2 were shut for maintenance but that did not ruin our stay as the main pool was open and was a decent size. If I have to find a negative, then it will be the room. 5* touches missing. Ending on a positive, staff are excellent and restaurant menu despite staying the same, had a lot of choice."
Hilton Burau Bay Langkawi Resort

"Super new hotel set at the foot of mountainous rainforest which then backs up onto a private soft sandy beach. Isolated location with only another hotel and cable cars nearby. I walked to the langkawi cable cars (also has a few food shops and restaurants) and it took about 5mins. For everything else you will need a car/taxi. Chenang street (shopping/food) is 20 mins and costs us 20MR(£4) each way using Grab App. Location and hotel are beautiful. Hotel room, breakfast, diner and staff service were all better than we had expected. Please note, it randomly rains in langkawi. Hilton have plenty of umbrella's around the building but I would recommend packing a lightweight waterproof jacket... and yes I did carry on swimming in the rain, both in the sea and pool."

"Centrally placed to the Main Street in Pantai Cenang. Good selection of food at the buffet breakfast. Staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Extended Happy hour with BOGOF. Close to the airport and easy to get a Grab taxi (download the App first). Would definitely stay there again."

"This hotel was great and we really enjoyed our stay. It's a beautiful place and being on a quiet bay really added to the experience. The staff were all so kind and polite. It's in a great location as well for easily going out to explore the island if you take a taxi. I'm a vegetarian and managed to find enough to eat across the week for all our meals, though some of the labelling/ingredients were confusing but when I raised this the staff were always happy to talk and help. June is more of a quiet season and we did get a rain storm at some point almost every day, but we like the quieter feel and didn't mind the storms."
