“The location is great! The hotel is historic and has a beautiful lobby. The only thing is that there is no super market in that area if you want buy some fruit or dairy stuff you’ll need to take a Uber.The restaurant is just fine .”

“Be careful when staying if you do t book through the hotels site they hit you with a ton of fees and charges. If you get the breakfast option and pay for it read the very tiny fine print and ask to confirm the information before ordering. Staff don’t know the rules you have to speak with a manager of else you’ll be charge upwards of $100 on extra fees. Don’t expect customer service prior to check in or even after check in if you book through Expedia, you will hear the excuse “you booked through……

“It would be better to specify (preferable in written) and inform the guest about the US$25 per day mandatory charge for hotel expenditure. Else, it will create grievances of the guest and conflict with front desk. The seating capacity of restaurant should be expanded especially during large conference/congress.”

“Great location and customer service. Great water pressure in shower. Fun vibe at hotel. Unique perks such as books and records in the room. Never received the promised free breakfast vouchers. Market place for breakfast was closed all three days for breakfast. Looked forward to happy hour at the rooftop bar but that was closed for private event all three nights. Air in room would not go below 68 degrees and was a bit warm in the room. ”

“Nice hotel. Nothing super fancy, but clean and comfortable. Location is fantastic. Walkable to National Mall and the wharf boardwalk has many restaurants, bars, and coffee. Would definitely stay here again.”
