“We enjoyed our stay! Discovered we had lots to learn about how things work in the UK, and Raymond was great to respond to every question. We were a 3-generation family group of 7. The stairs were a bit challenging for me (the matriarch, with balance problems), and having 1 bathroom worked for the short stay that we had but might be challenging for a longer stay with this many guests. Hospitality was great! Raymond & Brenda had a welcome sign with all our family names on it; took a picture of it.……

“My boyfriend booked this stay for my surprise birthday getaway and it was beautiful. We loved the cultural and historical significance of the cottage and the decor was stunning. We loved the hot tub out the back, it was private and peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and the parking was so handy. We ordered an Indian Takeout and it didn't take long to arrive at all. We hadn't even finished our stay and were already talking about coming back. Its such a perfect getaway to be in nature. ”

“This cottage is a real gem of a find. We had a lovely relaxing week in November in this impeccably renovated and decorated 200 year old cottage which has original features blended with all the modern comforts you could need including underfloor heating and a cosy stove for evenings around the fire. The cottage itself is set in the rolling County Down hills with glimpses of the Mourne Mountains in the distance on winding walks around the quiet roads. We also enjoyed star gazing on the terrace……

“We really enjoy the long summer nights and beautiful views. The kitchen was excellent. Fully stocked and had more than we needed. The beds were very comfortable, and the place was clean. It was easy to check in to. The only thing I would change would be the check out time. It was a bit of a struggle to get 6 people showered, fed and out the door for 10am. They did offer us to stay a little longer but I didn’t see the message until after we left. The hosts replied to messages quick and were……
