「Lovely two night stay at "Posh b&b". Bed was big and sumptuous, quirky room and ceiling shapes due to good use of very old building. Classy bathroom (huge bath - maybe not so appropriate in current drought but they didn't know that when it was installed!) A big plus for us is the well stocked and cosy residents bar for pre evening drinks or late nightcap. Staff are very freindly, approachable and efficient. Breakfast is everything we could hope for with many hot choices and extensive cold...

「Room nice and spacious. Breakfast great. Restaurant lovely Carpets need a good clean in accommodation. Noisy deliveries from 7am. We put drinks on room during day time; then were charged for all of them on dinner receipt (therefore we were charged service charge on daytime bar drinks). Bizarre given we had added card to room for that exact purpose (I didn’t want to have a card allocated to room, but was told it wasn’t optional, then had bill presented at dinner anyway). Was almost like they...

「Would have rated it 5 stars overall, but one or two things were allowed to run out. For example, the Aspels cider, the decaf tea sachets, and the decaf coffee sachets. Better checking on such things on a regular basis would prevent these from running out, because they could be topped up before they run out. Apart from the above shortcomings, good breakfast, good dinner, friendly and helpful staff.」
