"The landlady and landlord were lovely and could not have been more accommodating for us and our dog. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. The selection at breakfast was also really good. I thought the price was exceptionally good value and I would definitely stay again when I come back to the area."

"Lovely site, with new shepherds huts and yurts being adds to the site.. work is ongoing but done respectfully. Very peaceful with no WiFi, no phone signal or TV.. which was a plus, sat into the night by the fire pit talking playing cards etc. "

"Enjoyed our stay. Would be nice to park near to the pub, car park is in another field which is a short walk away it seemed safe enough though. Evening meal and breakfast both excellent, staff were very friendly and room was clean. Garden room has a bath only and as it’s in the eves, you can only crouch to have a shower, don’t stand up quick and hit your head like I did! The bed is also tucked under the eves on one side so again be aware when getting up in the night as it is very close to your head. All part of the quirkiness of the room as it is an old pub. "
