Fantastic staff, beautiful garden, very comfortable bed and hammock, relaxing atmosphere, and friendly dog and ducks. Just be prepared for the 100-parrot alarm clock every 6am as they leave the town square and settle in and around the grounds for a while. (It's actually a great thing to be able to see them up close).

gentle but overrated

overrated considering that: 1. damp and dusty room 2. No natural light in the room 3. sheets were clean but with spots that probably cleaning couldnt wash away in my opinion the price per night should be arround 150k COP per night at max.

THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER BEEN....

The manager of this hotel is a crazy old women who treat the hosts with bad manners and insult you in front of your kids... what kind of person is this who insult you in front of your family and treat your wife and kids like trash.... honestly I strong recommend you to satay away of this hotel for your safety and to avoid the worst experience of your life!!!! There are excellent hotels in Leticia at fare rates for you to enjoy your trip. Do not ruin your time in rhis hotel

Exactly what we needed !

We had a wonderful stay at Amazon BnB - our host (manager) was delightful. Most impressive was her energy and dedication to her guests, ensuring we had everything we needed to enjoy and be comfortable as well as her enthusiasm to coordinate trips and tours out of Leticia. Staff were kind, welcoming and equally as helpful. You will also be greeted by Ernie, the sweetest dog in town! Location leaves you a quick walk from Leticia’s city park, cafes, and even the port, for quick access to begin your journies on the Amazon. Thank you Amazon BnB for giving us a week we will never forget !

The female boss of the hotel is a lier. She tells you Details of other guests, a colombian model, Claudia Persuis, which is not descret behaviour. This Person is a lýer and should not lead a hotel which Claims to be one of the best in the area. Beds are of bad quality

Great staff, good location

The staff was always friendly and helpful. It is conveniently located, close to restaurants, stores and pier. A short walk (10 mins) to the main drag. The room was decent although in the morning there were a lot of dog barking and music being played by neighbors. Good local breakfast. The tours have some room for growth.

Es una buena experiencia, el hotel y la atención son muy buenas, lo único es un gym que pusieron cerca y la música es muy alta después de las 6.30 am, pero a esa hora esta uno afuera comenzado los tours.

Central Leticia location with amazing staff

My friend and I had a great experience at this place. The owner picked us up at the airport, and although getting in late immediately organized a small, private 3-city tour -- what a welcome. Given our short stay of 2 days, the staff helped us to jam-pack our main day with a monkey island visit (must do!!), an animal park visit, and an action-packed jungle safari. Parts arranged as private tour, parts with others together. We were super happy and had an amazing day! The hotel itself is also super nice. They have 3 smaller rooms, and 6 larger cabanas, offer a great breakfast and otherwise make sure you have an amazing stay: always get juice, have laundry on-site, great recommendations for food and tours. Also, the boots for the jungle tour you get are new and not smelly at all! A great to have ;) Would love to come back!

Relaxed, comfortable hotel in the heart of Leticia

We stayed here for six nights over Christmas, and loved it. A cool, calm retreat from the sometimes chaotic street life of Leticia, family run but to professional standards. Simple but very comfortable, well-planned rooms. Get a bungalow if you can, they give you more space to spread out, with a separate sitting/hammock room and a little porch to sit out on. Excellent breakfasts in sheltered internal garden area. We took three excursions organised by the hotel, no more than 6-8 people, and thoroughly enjoyed them. What shone through for us was the friendly, caring service from the staff. One of us unfortunately fell ill and had to stay in for a couple of days, and the level of attention we received was second to none. Talking to people who stayed in more expensive hotels in Leticia, we realised we had received a much better service and had a much better time. Wi-fi is OK, a bit erratic, but what can you expect on the Amazon? Warmly recommended.

Geschmackvolles Hotel in zentraler Lage

Wir (Familie mit zwei Jungs 17+14) haben dieses Hotel gewählt, um von dort Ausflüge auf dem Amazonas unternehmen zu können. Das Hotel wird von einer in Schweden lebenden Kolumbianerin und ihrer Tante geführt, die beide total nett sind. Unser Sohn hatte etwas im Hotel liegenlassen und wir wurden netterweise kontaktiert und bekamen es innerhalb unseres Urlaubs nachgeschickt. Wir haben alle Touren über das Hotel gebucht und alles funktionierte reibungslos und immer superpünktlich. WLAN funktionierte auch einigermaßen - das ist am Amazonas ja etwas schwierig. Das einzig Negative war der Krach, den das angrenzende Fitnessstudio früh morgens machte. Die Kurse gingen um 6.30 mit extrem lauter Musik los. Ein Wecker ist also nicht nötig.

Wunderbare Oase am kolumbianischen Amazonas

Das amazonB+B ist ein wunderschöner, entspannter Ort der Ruhe, ein Hotel wie aus einer Reiseerzählung. Die kleinen Bungalows sind für das Klima genau passend einegrichtet, haben Hängematte, Ventilator und einen Kühlschrank. Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls Klasse, jeden Morgen gibt es einen anderen tropischen Fruchtsaft. Das Team des Hotels ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für Traveller gibt es einen Wäscheservice!

Great place to call home in the Amazonas (Leticia)

Judy picked us up promptly and we quickly were at our Amazon home. Breakfasts were great and she and Johanna couldn't have been more helpful!

Best hotel in Leticia!

The Amazon B&B is a great hotel with great staff. Everyone there is very helpful and friendly, and all of the guests I met were very friendly as well. It is a quiet place to stay and relax and get away from reality for awhile. The breakfast they serve daily is delicious and made fresh just for you! Sitting in the lobby area and drinking a cold beer is the best way to end a day tour and unwind. It is extremely hot and humid in the Leticia, and air conditioning is a luxury that doesn't exist in most places. That being said the fans in the room our more than sufficient to be able to have a good nights rest! If I ever visit the Amazon in the future I will definitely stay here again.
