“We stayed here because mother inlaw lives right around the corner and she had a zoo full. Was nice when the rain hit we were close enough to come back to our place and get peace from everybody else. Slept in the front room and felt like I was being peeped on all weekends with no curtains.”

“Overall, we had a great experience staying here. The location is great, right next to Barbee Lake, also near Warsaw and Winona Lake. There is a very nice bar & grill restaurant right next door on the lake, and another restaurant in the hotel just down the road. The house was very easy to check into. There were no checkout instructions, which did make us wonder what was expected of us, so we just did our best to clean up after ourselves. Something else that we really appreciated was the game room……

“My friend and I have stayed at Michelle’s Davis St. house for 3 years. It’s super convenient to the flea market and close to other shopping. She’s very considerate of your needs and even leaves treats for her guests.”

“We loved our stay at this property. It was a great country setting and very comfortable. The furniture was like new and very comfortable. Many extras like coffee and tea. They provided soaps, shampoo, and plenty of bath towels and wash cloths. The owner checked on us to make sure we were happy with everything and wanted to know if we needed anything. This house is very convenient to all of the attractions and shopping in Shipshewana. You can't go wrong staying here. I would highly recommend this……

“The house was in good shape and well suited for a large group. We had 10 that slept comfortably. Property manager responded promptly. Some minor misinformation on the VBRO site (likely just out of date) such as an incorrect WiFi password and sending the door code the day prior to arrival, but these were minor things that were resolved promptly with no issue. Overall an enjoyable experience and a nice setting on the lake. Some nearby gunshots in the early morning hours both days could be heard...……
