“This is a very old hotel built in the 1950's. It has been significantly remodeled but still retains its old Hawaiian charm. It is located near some very interesting local restaurants, museums, and central to most locations on Kauai. The manager of the hotel, Ronald Kikumoto, has a passion for Hawaiian history, events, and geography. He enjoys giving visitors a comprehensive look at this mystical historic island chain.”
“This hotel is beautiful and checkes all the boxes we needed. Its so convenient to the water and i love that it had its own little cove to swim in, the water is so calm. I really loved that this hotel had a courtesy room to use to change and take a shower before our flight since a lot of flights are in the evening. ”
“Access to our room was easy. The room is clean and comfortable. The location is good and near restaurants and the public pier. There is a lanai with tables and chairs for dining and a view of a small horse ranch bordered by the ocean. ”
“Every time I stay here, I always get top notch service. The staff were very attentive and prompt especially during the time when we were on the tsunami watch. They were updating everyone on the current situation and disaster plan. We were fortunate enough that the property stayed on the green zone meaning we were safe.”
“it was actually a fabulous day, the pool was great. We had a wonderful view. We went and did the inner tube ride, which was really fun going down the river and through the tunnels. I highly recommend that excursion. Duke was a delicious dinner. Kauai is a wonderful island. It's so beautiful and green. The people are very, very friendly. I would definitely go back and stay here again. Everyone at the Sheraton was extremely friendly. Such good customer service. ”
