Hot and lack of communication prior to arrival

We ask on several occasions the week prior about checking in earlier, (a few hours since no one had been in the condo for a few days) never received a response till the day before and made us pay extra to check in early. Pictures in listing is different then what the condo currently looks. Upstairs is EXTREMELY hot and you’re not allowed to turn the thermostat below 70 degrees, very difficult to sleep upstairs and that was where the majority of the beds were located. Neighborhood and pool where very nice. I did receive several text while we were in the condo so communication while I’m on my trip was good.
