「The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but in the middle of the night I found a half inch winged insect crawling up my body in bed. Having killed it, I went into the bathroom, where I found one of its cousins climbing up the wall. Apart from the insect infestation, it might have been a decent stay. No breakfast, just coffee.」

「Clean, spacious room with comfortable beds and pillows. Could not hear any cars or trucks but heavy footsteps from upstairs and people talking from next door. Free simple breakfast. The air conditioner was a bit loud. Hallway smelled like smoke but room did not.」

「Cool historic place but for the price would’ve rather just visited. Super small rooms, one bar with five seats, no real on site dining for dinner, and man they better fix that water pressure as you’ll get more wet sweating than standing under that. Prob my last time visiting but cool place」

「The property is lovely. Despite being told it was heated, the pool was not heated. (I did not find this out - until after checking the temperature with my hand, and asking the concierge/ front desk to turn up the temperature. Only then did they find out by calling maintenance that the pool heater was not working). There was no mention of when it would be fixed -if ever. 」

「I would have like to have been able to swim in the pool. I asked before I booked and was told that the pool would be opened. Unfortunately, this did not happen. There was also construction or remodeling going on in the building. I would have liked to know this in advance as well. Had I been privileged to accurate information, I would have made another choice.」
