“This was out 4th visit to the Victoria Falls Waterfront. The welcome is always exceptional - warm and friendly. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The pools are clean and inviting. The bar and food are run to a very high standard. I understand that the lodge is owned by the company which provides safaris and other activities in the area so booking these is easy. We have now done a walking safari 4 times and see and learn new things each time. Cannot recomend this place enough.”

“Excellent lodge in a quiet area of Livingstone. The room was very clean and cosy with a terrace adjacent to the pool area. All of the staff members were extremely polite and professional, always ready with a smile and eager to help. The dinner menu was extensive for a small lodge and there were several different options for breakfast. Although I preferred to walk to and from the city center, a taxi can also be arranged for those who prefer to drive. I was able to book an excellent safari and……

“What a wonderful stay! This unique eco-lodge is lovingly built with so many fun and artistic features. We really enjoyed the cool sleep and outdoor shower but the grounds are quiet and picturesque too. The staff is beyond attentive and helped us book a safari day at Chobe as well, for a very reasonable price. The restaurant menu is a bit limited but it’s so close to everything that it’s easy to find some variety nearby. We will be recommending Munga to everyone! And we hope next time we come to……

“The room was clean and well equipped. In Livingstone/Victoria Falls having an air con is essential and the one in my room worked well. Having a mini-fridge and a desk in the room was also very useful for me. The bathroom was clean and I had hot water in the shower. The entrance to the property and the outside of the buildings does need some attention – the friend who dropped me off there wasn’t sure if it was OK to leave me there. “The property was overbooked so I never actually stayed there. I was forced to seek alternative accommodations in downtown Livingstone.”

“The staff were very friendly and helpful. Clara went the extra mile to make our stay as comfortable as possible though nothing else was pleasant about the place. There's no microwave not only in the room but the whole lodge didn't even have 1 single microwave, not even in their kitchen. We asked the owner if he could organize a microwave for us, he said he'd look into it but never did.The toaster was broken, we literally had to stand next to it and hold the button down while toasting the bread……

“The room had virtually no furniture - I had to supply my own chair, and the little bench in the corner - the leg kept falling off. The door was hard to open and shut as it was scraping on the ground, and it did not always lock when shut. Some of the windows also didn't lock properly. The shower - although with hot water - the shower head was woeful, and there was no where to put your clothes or hand a towel. The staff, on the hand, were magnificent and friendly. “För priset så är det utmärkt. Men för de pengarna du betalar så får du givetvis förstå att det inte är något lyxhotell. Inget varmvatten, lite spindlar och smuts är att förvänta. Skönt med AC. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Området är relativt säkert men undvek själv att gå utomhus efter skymning. Det tar ca 45 minuter att gå in till centrum. En taxi kostar 70K till center, men då åkte jag med min flickvän som är från Zambia, så räkna med att de lär försöka få mer betalt om du är ensam och vit. ”
