“Room and bedroom were lovely, french doors with garden outdoor view , you would not expect that from the front door of your room and the front area , bit shabby and dated, saying that bathroom very dated was clean but could do with modernization. Pool was my biggest let down, small very busy and again generally little shabby , temp was good , but I didn't stay in for long , on our visit jacuzzi was full of young lads , all friends couldn't get near it . Quite a walk to breakfast from our room/……

“My stay at Craig-y-Dderwen Riverside Hotel was absolutely wonderful. The setting alone makes it special - nestled right along the river, surrounded by beautiful scenery that immediately makes you slow down and relax. In the evenings I opened my window to hear the sound of the river flowing by. It was incredible peaceful. The staff was genuinely warm and welcoming. They happily shared hiking recommendations, and one evening when I went down for a glass of wine, a staff member encouraged me to……

“The staff was amazing and attentive. But there was a lot of hidden costs as well as the property on Expedia being mid marketed. The spa is not included in price you pay. You have to pay additional as you have to with everything else. Even washers and dryer are paid for. ”
