“Great stay! Rooms were very cold as the AC was quite powerful and even when off it was very cold. But aside from that was an amazing place to stay. Staff were lovely. Food was great.”

“First: two out of the three elevators were out of service which is not especially convenient. “We have stayed here before several times but this time was really disappointing. We booked an accessible room but on arrival we were told this wasn't available and we were on the first floor. It was fortunate my operation for a knee replacement was postponed or I wouldn't have managed the stairs (no lift). The first floor room was stifling as it was during the ongoing heatwave. No fan provided. We went straight to get a cold drink (having driven 200 miles we were parched). Ordered the drinks……

“The breakfast was lovely. There’s no air-conditioning so you’ll have to crack the window. There’s some stairs, so just be aware that you need to carry your luggage up some stairs. The staff are very helpful and friendly. ”

“My overall assessment on the stay would rate it no more than a three star. There are some minor maintenance issues that need to be looked into. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Food was very good and the full English was excellent. The idea of filling out what you wanted for breakfast the previous day was not really how I would like it as this might change, I would prefer to decide on the day. Conclusion: The accommodation was a little tired and in need of a spruce up.”

“A warm welcome and shown to the room. The room itself was very comfortable. However, there was no air conditioning of any type or fan in the room in the excessive heat. It did not make for a comfortable night’s sleep. A guest fire action notice or a simple evacuation map showing the route to the nearest stairwell was not readily available behind the door. This requires immediate attention. Breakfast itself was just ok.”
