The property, although being old, is very run down particularly very messy on the outside. The room we had was just ok, nothing special although it was big and the beds were reasonably comfortable, but the shower was absolutely useless, just a trickle of water, and the two lights out of the three in the bathroom that didn't work were not fixed even though we……

Tea/Coffee facilities in room, along with a hair dryer, spare blanket (if needed) and clean towels. Room was airy, even on the hot day. Since it was a hot spell, the thick curtains were drawn in our room to keep the room cool, which was a nice welcomed touch. “Lovely hotel and very helpful staff. Excellent food. Disappointed with the spa facilities, certainly not luxury. Massage rooms were in a hut next to the swimming pool. You had to walk behind the reception desk and through the swimming pool to get there. There was no relaxation room. Enjoyed the massage but for the price I had hoped for some luxury and somewhere to lie down and chill afterwards. Also you have to go through the tiny gym to get to the hot tub and if someone is using the treadmill……

“Receptionist was so rude on arrival she didn't know about our booking and made me sign a piece of paper with print too small to read before giving us the key to our room. Telling my concerned partner that it was something to do with being added to marketing list for emails. When we paid for our room my partner & I expected to be able to use all the facilities described on your website. However we arrived to find the hotel full of drunken wedding guests. Empty beer bottles were all over the place……
