“What a lovely little gem of a hotel, absolutely loved staying here, dinner was out of the world followed by such a gorgeous breakfast the next day.. Would 100% return here”

“We really enjoyed our stay in an old mansion. The staff were friendly and helpful, our room was clean, spacious and warm. We could hear the door closing in the corridor a few times but it did not disturb our sleep. Breakfast was perfect. We would recommend a stay at this hotel.”

“All the staff I came across had a lovely helpful attitude. The room was basic, but that was what I paid for. Every where was clean. They have added double glazing inside the sash windows so although room was on the main high street it was super quiet - had a great night's sleep. Didn't have breakfast, but did have an evening meal which was OK nothing special.”

“Lovely clean and tidy hotel. Nice staff great breakfast”

“This hotel more than exceeded our expectations. In fact we were blown away by everything. Friendly staff on reception, lovely decor, our room on the first floor was nicely decorated, and the breakfast was delicious. There is loads of parking. We'd definitely stay here again. Wish more hotels were like this one!!!”

“Over all happy with the stay. It's clean and tidy close to every thing. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. Large towls were missing and the hair dryer but were bought to the room as soon as we asked for them. Excellent service. Two down falls. The shower. Large people might struggle to get in the shower as the door hing is 1/5 along the door so the door when opened doesn't hit the toilet. Second issue the road noise. We visited in September so temperature was still warm. You……

“Lovely staff, well kept room, delicious breakfasts, dinner, and Sunday lunch”

“Beautiful location, excellent parking and lovely choices of places to eat. Breakfast was outstanding with lots of quality eg coffee choice of bread, granola and much more. It was clear the owner takes pride in the services available. Highly recommended ”

“We loved our stay here. You could instantly tell that the owners cared about the place and want you to have a good stay. Andrea was really lovely and helpful with local recommendations and cooked an amazing breakfast.”

“Lovely location, peaceful, great accomodation and friendly hosts ”

“Good staff”

“The view is absolutely beautiful. The overall hygiene was ok, with a small bit of stain on the sheet remaining. However, there was one used instant coffee packaging left, probably due to carelessness of cleaning staff. The worst issue was that the shower was completely not working but the hotel gave us this room knowing that there was a electrical failure for the shower. Although the staff was really polite when we raised this issue in the morning, it does not erase the disappointment at night.……

“Queen room, comfortable bed with views at the back of the property, no ventilation due no opening windows, dusty fun, no space to put luggages or hooks to hang clothes at the back of the main door. Small wardrobe with 5 hungers. Spacious bathroom but run down, update needed. Staff didn’t mention where to go to visit or menu/price breakfast.”

“Great value, superb location, got a very highly rated Italian right opposite, Little Italy it's called. Got a Tesco Express near by & it's under 10 mins walk to the bars, the pier, beach, train station etc 😊”
