Far away from it all
Fantastic lodge with everything you would need for an away from it all break. Hotels.com site did say it had a washer dryer which is inaccurate however not a big issue. Views are amazing and with it being so remote the night stars show bright at night.

Flawless. This was my second time here. And it is still as excellent as it was. Super clean and thorough checks done given current restrictions, but this didn’t have any negative feeling on out holiday.
New sofa in shore is really comfy too. Excellent escape and retreat from the world.

We stayed in Shore Cottage. It is really well equipped with everything you would need for a short or long stay. The bed was comfy, the bath is huge and the living area is cozy. The scenery is beautiful and the having the garden and rocky beach on our doorstep was perfect for our toddler. You can walk to Craobh Haven with only a small portion on the main road. There is a bar/restaurant, coffee shop and very small village store. I would recommend stocking up on supplies before you arrive (Lochgilphead or Oban). There is no WiFi but we had good 4G coverage with O2.
The only downside was being asked to check in after 6pm (different to what is on the website) due to increased cleaning. We made a day of travelling up but did get there with a grumpy toddler.
Great cottage, great location, amazing views.
Only thing that could be improved are the sofa and chairs which are a bit old and uncomfortable. But this is a very minor point.

Lovely out of the way self catering
Lovely setting away from it all. Property is very basic but all that is needed as a place to sleep
Lovely trip. My cabin was lovely once I had made the hairy trip up the track to it. My clutch certainly didn’t thank me for it and I had to replace my front tyre on return. The view is amazing and the cabin well equipped. Be aware that on the ad there are clearly more than one property included in the pics. I booked what I thought was a cottage by the lake and ended up in a cabin in the hill. Saying that there’s fun in not knowing what you’re going to end up with. Life is like a box of chocolates. I had a lovely trip and it’s great value. I’ll return again.
An ideal place to relax and unwind. The properties are quirky and well equipped and the peaceful setting of each one has spectacular views.
Properties are not new, so if modern is your thing, probably best to try elsewhere.
However, if you want a warm and comfortable base to explore Argyll and Bute from then this is for you.
We are already organising our return trip!

An eccentric holiday cabin. Great views and wildlife.
Cottage was fine, well fitted-out, if a little tired, Staff very good. Unfortunately the weather was pretty foul, but what can you expect at this time of year in Argyll.

Expedia had de boeking niet doorgestuurd. We werden echter super geholpen en zonder discussie kregen we direct een cottage. De dag erna had de accommodatie het al opgehelderd met expedia. Mooie omgeving hele vriendelijke mensen
