There are numerous attractions in the vicinity including Powfoot links golf course (6.5 miles), Dino Park (5 miles), Mabie Farm Park (18 miles), Caerlaverock Castle (14 miles), the Robert Burns Centre (15 miles), the Aviation Museum (15 miles) and Sweetheart Abbey (21 miles).
