Loved it. Clean, nice large rooms, amazing views, fantastic food all served by friendly and very efficient staff.
I will definitely be staying here again and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this part of Scotland.

Long awaited family catch up
Lovely hotel and grounds in a very peaceful location situated on the outskirts of the town, its only a 10min walk to the centre of Lockerbie itself and a 2min drive from the motorway
Room was very spacious and clean, we had a really nice breakfast which was plentiful and kept you going for most of the day
Staff were very warm and friendly with nothing ever a problem. We would definitely stay here again as had such a relaxing pleasant stay and would highly recommend to others
Should also state that due to Covid this was the Hotels first weekend after being allowed to re-open and think the staff coped with it admirably

Highly recommended
Myself and work colleague stayed here for two nights and committed into Glasgow to work because of Covid-19 restrictions. Highly recommended Hotel I can see why it has such a superb reputation staff are so helpful and friendly hotel is kept in pristine condition. We had dinner both nights in the the restaurant the roast pork dinner was one of the best I've had. We had breakfast every morning which was also a delight with nice fresh coffee and a good cooked breakfast. Just like to say thank you to the friendly staff. Clark and Ralph.

We were very impressed with the hotel. Handy for the town of Lockerbie, we were made most welcome on our arrival. The staff were all very pleasant and extremely helpful. Over the years we have stayed i. Several of the hotels in Lockerbie, but Somerton House was by far the best. Without doubt we shall stay there agan.

Lovely Hotel
We had a lovely time here, everything was perfect, we had a good sized room and the hotel owner was very friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble and the food was great, we really enjoyed our stay here.
