“We had amazing stay... it was my fiancees birthday treat and jean left a card and box of chocolates in our room and happy birthday banner.. jean was the perfect host breakfast was very good and filling the room was immaculate as was everywhere we went within the property... jean obviously works super hard to make sure her guest are comfortable and happy nothing seemed too much for her... very very good stay would absolutely recommend.. many thanks”

“When we arrived the owners came to great us. Very friendly, explained everything very well. Room was perfect with a lovely view. Bed comfortable, breakfast was amazing and great selection. Loved the fan on the wall. Only bad thing i would say is upgrade the pillows, uncomfortable, even with 2. Room was hot even with the fan on the wall. ”

“We stayed for one night, and it was fabulous! The staff and manager really made this stay great. Nothing was too much trouble. It was relaxing and calm. Everything was spotless clean. Our bedroom was great, with a view of the sea spacious and really comfortable. The food was excellent so compliments to the chef! Enjoyed the stay so much we are booking again. We really recommend this hotel...but more than anything what a fantastic team.”

“Sugar beat eating house excellent couldn't fault anything, stayed overnight the room was wonderful, nice and clean, tea/coffee facility, air conditioning. We didn't hear any noise from the establishment downstairs very quiet. We had an evening meal and breakfast compliments to the chef. We will stay again in the future. The staff very polite and helpful. Thank you for making our stay wonderful.”

“All staff were professional, helpful and friendly. The hotel was in good condition and clean. For a hotel all meal and drink prices were reasonable. Ideally placed for a walk along one of the best beaches in Norfolk and very short drive into G Yarmouth or Lowestoft. The new children’s water fun area is brilliant for the little ones and free.”

“We’ve stayed at the Maids Head several times. It’s a great hotel, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is always great - lots of gluten free options. Gluten free toast is always provided. Choice of GF cereals, cooked breakfast was all clearly marked and our server was aware of which items were gf. Room was lovely and clean. There was a wedding there on our last stay, and the bar ran out of wine and the barman was not having a great time - he was clearly under pressure and not in the best mood. It……
