“We’ve stayed at the Maids Head several times. It’s a great hotel, clean and comfortable.
Breakfast is always great - lots of gluten free options. Gluten free toast is always provided. Choice of GF cereals, cooked breakfast was all clearly marked and our server was aware of which items were gf.
Room was lovely and clean.
There was a wedding there on our last stay, and the bar ran out of wine and the barman was not having a great time - he was clearly under pressure and not in the best mood.

“Absolutely loved staying at the Regency Guest House. Very welcoming, clean and comfortable. A really beautiful property. Jane and Mark made us feel very welcome and were great hosts providing us with lots of useful information about the area. Our room was immaculate with a fantastic modern bathroom. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful to set you up for the day and a few doors away from a lovely friendly pub. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend staying here……
“Sugar beat eating house excellent couldn't fault anything, stayed overnight the room was wonderful, nice and clean, tea/coffee facility, air conditioning. We didn't hear any noise from the establishment downstairs very quiet. We had an evening meal and breakfast compliments to the chef. We will stay again in the future. The staff very polite and helpful. Thank you for making our stay wonderful.”
“We had amazing stay... it was my fiancees birthday treat and jean left a card and box of chocolates in our room and happy birthday banner.. jean was the perfect host breakfast was very good and filling the room was immaculate as was everywhere we went within the property... jean obviously works super hard to make sure her guest are comfortable and happy nothing seemed too much for her... very very good stay would absolutely recommend.. many thanks”
