"The location was amazing, and the room was very spacious! However, the biggest disappointment was the lack of storage, especially for a longer stay. With only a few hangers, a tiny hanging rack, and two small shelves, we had nowhere to put our clothes, which was frustrating given the size of the room. The complimentary laundry was wonderful, the gym was great, and the front desk staff were consistently lovely, always greeting us with a smile. We also appreciated the discounted parking across the street. Unfortunately, breakfast was disappointing as someone with celiac disease. I missed it the first morning because I wasn't aware gluten-free options existed until I asked. While I appreciated the dedicated toast, staff gave conflicting information about what was safe to eat. One day something was safe, the next it wasn't. At one point, I was handed a bowl of chocolate cereal instead of a proper breakfast, which honestly felt embarrassing. Trust me, I don't choose to have celiac disease, and navigating food safely is challenging enough without feeling like an inconvenience. More consistency and understanding would go a long way. The lobby and bar could also use more atmosphere, even some music. We're in Ireland, after all! Despite these issues, I would recommend this hotel. The location, staff, and amenities were great. A few thoughtful improvements would make a big difference. Thank you!"

"Clean and simple room. Free parking was handy. Pool and spa area were okay, but the jacuzzi is just bubbles (no jets) and it’s rather small. They are also strict about wearing a cap in the pool. Staff are helpful."

"It was very satisfactory. Close to city centre and amenities. Staff were helpful and All told i would certainly stay there again. Two things the staff might take note off. 1. Shower floor very slippery. Slight rougher tiles wouls help. 2. Half way along corridor to room 12 there is a step dpwn. Easily missed. A marker of some sort of a differemt colour to the carpet would make t safer. These are relatively minor suggestions and do not take awy from my original assessment of the Ashley Hotel. Thank you for your hospitality."
