It was a lovely stay at the marriot. The staff were lovely and really helpful. The only issue we had was that the station for tea's and coffees werent replaced during our stay. Breakfast good. Lovely staff. Overall, an amazing experience.

I very rarely give five stars but honestly there is practically nothing I can think of that wasn't great. Rooms are nice, pool is nice, the staff are really friendly. I've stayed there for both Comic-Con and Pokémon Championships and I really love how the staff are always excited to ask questions about it (whereas some other hotels make it feel like I'm weird for having those interests). Also one of the easiest for the Excel. I've actually stayed here for work before where some people were put in different hotels, and Aloft is always seen as the lucky pick. Only possible criticism is that it's pretty expensive, both for the room and food. It's not really too much more than other hotels in the area, but that's the worst thing I can think of.

This is a really nice place. It’s right next to the Excel center, so it is absolutely ideal if you are in London for an event there. The DLR station is right next to it as well, so getting anywhere in London is super convenient. The restaurant is really good too. They take their time with food preparation, so don’t be in a hurry, that’s all. The chicken supreme is highly recommended. The breakfast is a buffet with a ton of popular English breakfast items. Just make sure you opt for adding breakfast at the time of booking, as it costs a LOT more if you pay for it on the day of. I will likely stay there again next time I go to London even if it is not for an Excel event.
