Very run down building needs refurbishment, no hot water for the shower. Bed was clean and very comfortable, not very handy to check in all done by phone as no one at reception. Wouldn't stay there again.

Was placed on the 4th or 5th floor at check in. The hotel has no elevator so I had to carry bags through 4 or 5 flights of stairs which was very inconvenient. Hotel is also unstaffed most of the time. Will never ever stay there again. Didn't meet minimum standards in my opinion.

The location is superb...370' from Earl's Court Tube, but in a quiet side street. Okay, the neighbourhood isn't Mayfair, but I felt entirely safe, and there were various useful shops, and several good places to get inexpensive of mid-price meals. This is not The Ritz... and the price isn't what the Ritz would cost. Room was quite small, no grand public rooms, but the sheets were clean, bed comfortable, water hot. Fixtures and fittings working. I'll stay here again.

We booked the room for 2 weeks as well were visiting from California. There was no ac and we had to leave not even 24 hours into our stay as my husband was starting to have problems breathing bc it was so hot. The property kept 100% of our money. The pictures look NOTHING like the actual property. I am surprised that they are allowed to continue operating. I was happy to get back to the United States.

I was put to sleep in the basement, none of the electrical plugs in the room functioned and then they charged me by the hour a power bank to be able to charge my phone. The room top window that leads outside was unlocked and there was a tapping at my window all night. The room didn’t have a lamp and I had to sleep with the lights on all night. The room doesn’t look like the pictures to say the least; would not recommend. There is also no lift so consider your stay if you have heavy luggage.

The hotel’s location was excellent, and the staff on duty were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. In particular, the gentleman who checked us in provided excellent service and made us feel welcome. Unfortunately, beyond those positives, our experience was disappointing. The hotel is in significant need of renovation, with chipped paint, stains on the walls, and carpets that appear very worn and dated. When we arrived on our floor, there were bags of dirty laundry left in the hallway, which created a poor first impression. I have stayed in many older hotels that, despite their age, are well maintained and feel clean. Unfortunately, that was not our experience here, as the overall condition of the property gave the impression that it had not been properly updated or maintained. The photos online are very misleading. While I appreciated the excellent location and the kindness of the staff, I would not choose to stay at this hotel again.
