The bed sheet and blankets were not changed everyday. The response from staff for room service, e.g. an additional chair, is quick. Yet the most inconvenient thing to stay is the stability of WiFi service. The service was so unstable that I cannot download anything with my iPhone 15 Pro even though I could see that the WiFi signal was half way.

First of all the area is nice where the location of the hotel is but nothing was said that it’s under construction scaffolds all in the front so the picture that’s on your website is false at 9am they start hammering drilling everything that has under construction second the bathroom are very tinny the toilet it right next to the wall and shower glass also the drain in shower gets filled up quickly so has to turn off shower twice to complete my shower also there is no ac just a fan even if outside it’s 40-50 inside like 80 I complained several times they said no ac in the rooms but that’s a lie they should of change my room the secound day I was there especially since the ac was on in the hallways and they I heard them ask a guest if the air conditioning was working ok ! I would like to get a refund for at least 1/2 back is what I paid because of all the troubles I had even having the shower flood and all the water going to the carpet and smelling like a wet dog for 5 days ! Oh and then also the door rubbed against the carpet and it was so hard to push open it was horrible I did complain on on everything they just said will look into it gave me a bigger fan but never once was I offered to move even though my room was a disaster my room was 438 and everything was wrong there also 1/2 of the outlets did not work and the tea kettle in the room was burnt inside I forgot to tell them ! I gave up the location is great across the street from Kensington Palace ! Under construction

The carpet was very stained to the point that we avoided taking off our shoes in the room. We had two pillows that were on the floor the day we requested for our room to be cleaned. When we returned, all the pillows were back on the bed and it was evident that none of the sheets or pillowcases were changed; there were multiple strands of hair still left on the pillow. When we called the housekeeping to request more pillows, we received four clean pillowcases to change our pillows and confirmed with them that none of the sheets were changed, they only made up the bed. The walls are very thin and you can hear all your neighbors and anyone in the hallway chatting or walking. The lighting in the room was stark and reminded us of a hospital setting. The location was good, it was very close to any transportation we required for our trip.

The room was very clean and the bathroom seemed modern. The only downside was that the walls are so thing that you could join your neighbours conversation if you wanted, as you could hear every word or noise made. Same applies to the movies other people were watching

This hotel is very well placed with two Tube-stations close by. The hotel could use a renovation, as the rooms feel out of date in 2024, but everything worked. The cost of staying is OK, compared ti what you get.

Upon arrival at reception I submitted my debit card details to my allocated room which I find acceptable. However, upon arriving upon my first morning at the dining area I was asked to pay for the food immediately? … cannot understand this system when my card details have already been submitted At reception and they have a printed sheet containing the guest’s name and room number.. this aspect needs addressing.

Room was small but comfortable and clean, the shower was very powerful. Location was great, easy access to restaurants and two tube stations. Being so close to Kensington Park was great for walks away from the hustle and bustle. The area felt very safe. Paid extra for breakfast which was good and the cooked elements were great quality.

The entire hotel smells very strongly of air freshener, likely to cover up the smell of damp, which was still evident in my room. There was a damp patch on the wall next to the non-functioning radiator. The bathroom had an infestation of small flies. The hotel is undergoing renovation work, meaning that only one lift was working.

Stayed here for five nights. The hotel is nice and in a great location, easy to walk to Queensway or Bayswater station and not too far from Paddington station. We checked in early and they had no issue with it, the only thing was that the only rooms available were in the lower level. We didn't mind, as we were not planning on being there other than at night to sleep. The construction did not seem to be an issue at all for us and was only visible on the outside. The lobby was nice and clean and the staff was nice as well. After the third night, we noticed there seemed to be a leak coming from the wall from under the sink, leaking some rust-colored water. We informed the front desk immediately and they told us they'd get it fixed while we were gone. When we got back at night it was still there (I do think they tried fixing it but it just didn't work) and they moved us to a new room. The new room was MUCH bigger and nicer but still seemed to be a standard double. It seemed to be in the newly renovated part of the hotel and was on a different floor, although still on the lower level. The first room was very very tiny so the new one was much more comfortable. Just know the images while booking aren't necessarily what the rooms look like. Altogether it was nice and for the price, it was definitely good enough. I would stay here again.

The staff are pleasant. Generally clean hotel and good breakfast. However. Bed was hard and could feel the wooden base. Could hear conversation in neighbouring room very clearly and people speaking in corridor at 4am could very clearly be heard. I did not sleep well. This property has a mold and plumbing issue. The staff were kind to move me into a new room when my first one had mold on the head frame and the shower didn't drain. But the second room had mold in the shower and the water had no heat control and was only boiling hot. Both rooms were not maintained well. Was a very frustrating experience and health concern!

The internet picture is not the same as the hotel itself. Not sure if this due to the huge current refurbished the hotel is under. However we were at the correct place. We had a very nice room L07 . It was warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean. There was no window ( was warned) but AC was provided. This wasn’t an issue as we was only there to sleep anyway. Considering there was major refurbishment works happening the hotel made sure it caused very little disruption to it’s customers. The staff were pleasant, the breakfast was nice, plenty choice, bedroom cleaned and fresh towel’s provided. I would stay again.

We do have some points that we noted about our stay in the Central Park Hotel: - the breakfast did not meet our expectations for a full English breakfast of 15£ - ⁠it did not matter what breakfast you chose as you took everything from two buffet tables - ⁠our room looked nothing like the pictures online (I reckon we were in a continuation of the main building - room M36) - ⁠there was no toilet brush available in the bathroom effectively forcing us to have room service, even though we would have preferred not to use it every day - ⁠the shower head was leaking - ⁠switching from shower to faucet in the bathtub was impossible - ⁠the tiles seemed worn down and we spotted black mold - ⁠one morning, the water heating did not work properly and the hotel offered us a coffee from the bar as compensation which we liked - ⁠stale air due to being unable to open windows - ⁠worn down furniture - ⁠electronic devices showed signs of wear and tear - ⁠we reckon that our hotel room door was supposed to be a fire emergency exit door but it didn’t close by itself - ⁠the staff was very forthcoming and friendly - the hotel is very close to sights and makes access easy
