Better staff training needed

Check in was terrible, both staff were trainees and clearly had to work on their customer facing skills (with just a little smile). The room was much smaller than expected, much smaller. Breakfast was good, the service staff at the restaurant were tentative and constantly made sure all our needs were met. However, the saving grace was we left our valuables in the hotel safe, they sent an email and when returning to the hotel to collect all the items were there, even cash! When returning the front desks had mroe "seaoned" staff on hand, the whole experience felt better.

Excellent location close to the west end, just a short walk to the hotel from the main tourist drag, making the hotel that bit quieter which was nice. The room size was very small. Fine for an over night stay but much more would have been a little uncomfortable.

The location is great, but the rooms were tiny and not typical hotel layouts. They were more like apartments. The bathrooms followed the room design, which was extremely small. Sitting down on the toilet made my shoulder touch the tiny sink. The shower was not clean. The toilet didn’t flush well and required multiple flushes. The breakfast was mediocre at best.

Lovely hotel with super friendly staff and nice little touches, like biscuits and fruit in the lobby! Only had the one night stay but it was clean, quiet and comfortable! This was our second stay and will always book here going forward for London trips. Great walking distance from pretty much all you need, with a tube station also on your doorstep. Would recommend!!

Staff were lovely and the initial appearance of the hotel was lovely. Inside the room, the bed had duct tape and brown tape covering the corners of the bed frame. Overall, there was large amounts of damage to the room which I wouldn’t expect from a 4 star hotel. Unfortunately, I will not be staying in another Radisson Blu hotel in the future due to this experience.

Amazing staff! So friendly and willing to help every time you walk through the door. Room was clean, coffee and tea makers were super convenient and I used both! Only thing I would say that isn’t positive is the bed is not comfortable at all. It was really bad. Needs, at minimum, a mattress topper, pillow top or egg crate, something to give it a little cushion. Otherwise, it is stiff as a board with no give.

We had Room 324 and it was excellent. Easy walking distance to British Museum, west end Theatres, Elizabeth Line to LHR. Breakfast was fine with great service. We bought a package from Expedia with flight, hotel, and breakfast included; I might not have wanted to pay 25 GBP each per day for breakfast. But breakfast at nearby restaurants was about the same. Room was refreshed daily, great service. Lots of places to plug in your phones/computers. (Get an eSim card for your phone: cheap!) Great hotel wifi. We choked a little on the cost for early check in, but after a red-eye flight from Canada, it was worth it. The UK is expensive by Canadian standards. Live with it!
