「The Sands was a lovely resort. Grace Bay is our favorite place in the world and The Sands is also conveniently located to the shopping area as well. We loved the pool facing the ocean and the restaurant on site was cute. However, I would not reserve a first floor Garden Suite again. We were disappointed in ours as the patio area was enclosed and there was no airflow. It was very hot and surrounded by foliage so felt a little claustrophobic. 「This property was clean!! I can emphasize enough how clean everything was. In my opinion, it was also very modern. I felt very comfortable sleeping each night, not only because there was 24hr security once the office closes, but the beds were soft, sheets were clean and we did not see one bug inside of our room the entire stay. 「We did a Thursday to Monday trip. It was very relaxing as it was a slow time in September. Room was clean and the Ocean view was amazing. 「Our experience was excellent the young lady was very pleasant. She let us check in early because of the hurricane. We were also granted a late check out and she even treated us to taxi ride in town to get coffee and something to eat. I would definitely stay here again if i were in Turks and Caicos again. 」
