"The location was great. Easy to walk to Times Square and the different show theaters.
But, The staff does not go out of their way to greet you but if you spoke to them, they were friendly. This hotel is very old and outdated. The hot water for showers was lukewarm at best morning and night. The rooms were spacious, but not luxurious by any means. The room and a draft so my daughter and I switched beds because she got to cold. The noose level from outside was awful! The sirens, horns, music and people go all night long. "
"Very dated hotel with super hard mattresses. The windows are very thin and you hear all the traffic noise from 7th avenue all night long. At one point I actually checked to ensure the window was closed because the traffic noise was so loud and it was 2am. The water pipes are very dated and make a ton of noise when you or the neighboring room are using the toilet or shower. Our sink handles leaked when you turned on the faucet so there was always water pooling. No security to get on and off the hotel elevator at any time. so anyone can push the. Button anytime of day and get off elevator whether it’s their floor or not! I picked due to location but probably won’t be staying here in the future. "
"I stayed here for two weeks and initially thought the experience might wear off, but it didn’t. Everything about this property was consistently great from start to finish.
The location is very convenient, with easy access to everything I needed during my stay. My room was always clean and well maintained, which made it easy to settle in and feel comfortable. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful whenever I needed anything.
Overall, it was a very comfortable and reliable place to stay, and I would definitely consider returning in the future. The free walking tours were also a great touch. A great way to see NYC!"
