“Breakfast was better than the usual lobby breakfast. Beds were comfortable. Receptionist helpful and pleasant!”

“The staff, especially the nice hostess/manager at check in. She went above and beyond to do her best to make me feel like a matter. I needed a cup that fit the lids in the breakfast area and she tore the place apart looking for the cup, and she found it. Most places just say sorry and don't make the effort. She did. She made me feel like a mattered. ”

“The house could have been cleaner (vents are dirty, dust bunnies in corners, etc). The home was cold when we arrived, and by the time we heard back from the host to learn how to turn up the heat, it was to late to warm the home for the first night. One of the smoke detectors had a low battery and was continually beeping. The ceiling was too high to be reached with a chair. The host stated there were batteries in the closet and did not offer a ladder. There were no batteries in the closet, and……

“Because I had never visited Los Alamos when the booking said the place was located in Downtown I had envisioned a more traditional urban city center and not such a small village. But that's on me. As for the Canyon Inn itself it was centrally located, clean and relatively quiet. I also wasn't quite expecting the room to be a extra room in someone's residence but it was spacious and more comfortable than I thought it would be. The owners were friendly but not intrusive.
