"The room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Desk staff very friendly and helpful. There’s some noise from the highway- ear plugs took care of that. The breakfast was just cereal and packaged pastries, which gave us the perfect excuse to go out for breakfast. Highly recommend Toni’s Courtyard Cafe in Merced. Great eggs Benedict and biscuits and gravy. "

"All I have to say is OMG the worse hotel I’ve stayed at in my whole life! The front desk lady was so unprofessional, the rooms were dirty (the bathroom’s waste basket full of trash from previous guests). We were moved to another room (room 24) and it smelled so bad and the bed was so lumpy my back was in so much pain the next day. They also started sweeping in front of our room and banging the broom against the door at 7am they also kept hitting the wall with rims or barrels don’t know what...

"Love this place it’s a affordable convenient place to stay when in town. Everyone there is great from NICK the manager and other office staff all the way to the housekeeping. They are so helpful and attentive. I stay every time I’m in town now. "

"I had given up on motel 6 all together after staying at a couple in Fresno CA. Literally those were disgusting l, horrible managenent dirty etc etc ....... ******* HOWEVER: ********** the brand new studio 6 in Madera just opened in December 2023 and is such a wonderful option! All rooms getting full makeovers, now have beautiful thick bedding, super clean rooms, no scary people wandering around the property ever, the owners are so sweet and kind and live on the property so they want u to...

"Older hotel and the outside looks a little dated but the room looked recently updated and was really nice and clean. It is near the highway and a train track so can be a little noisy but it didn’t bother me. Would definitely stay again. Staff was very friendly "

"Great and very well built cabin in a nice location. A lot of room on the property to walk around. Went during Spring where the weather was perfect in the location. About an hour drive to Yosemite.10 minutes to a grocery store and gas station if needed. Owner is friendly and responsive when we called. Information provided by him were detailed where no further question were needed to be asked during our stay. Would recommend to stay here. Thank you very much again for having us"
