Such a cool experience! Loved the historical character of this room, with a bit of a modern vibe. We got there quite late so had a remote check in which worries me a bit but it was easy and not worth the worry. Location - excellent!

The room was nice and clean. The location was excellent near the Porta Santa Maria where there is a bike ramp which makes easy access to the wall. The property is close to shopping and restaurants. The only objection I had to the property was there is no desk staff. Victor Rossi Philadelphia PA

The room was awesome. Although from the outside, one wondered, the place was amazing. Our 14 YO granddaughter lived in the tower. We would love to stay there again.

Charming hosts and charming accommodations Located on the north-north-east side…inside the wall. Decor is pottery barn meets antique finds and best of ikea. Hosts are new owners, and maybe why so few reviews. Would definitely stay here again. Nice spot for coffee/breakfast/snacks just steps away.

Rooms in this boutique property are managed remotely so no personal contact with any staff during our stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Property is located within the city walks but outside of the ZTL and there are several parking options (although quite expensive). Lucca is well worth visiting with plenty of sights to see and lots of dining options.

Location perfect and room rustic and quirky which was lovely. Air con worked well and really comfy bed. Unfortunately we had a leak into our bathroom coming from room above and you could see this was an ongoing problem from the patch on ceiling and wall. Didn't really detract from our stay though but definitely needs attention. Would stay here again.

This hotel room was great! I loved the features and location great too! There is a cafe though under it and both nights were soooooo loud from 12-3am (maybe beyond). It seemed to be an area for locals to gather after the bar! I’m a deep sleeper and it kept be up so be wary.

Although we only had one night, it was New Year's Eve. The fireworks and party were just outside the hotel, but it was still nice and quiet in the room. Great location for everything walkable, including a great walking path on top of the old city wall. Great food options close any time of day.

Easy to find. Very cute rustic decor and clean room. The bed is the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in! Although there is no staff (except when e we checked in), they were always responsive via WhatsApp. Access to “the Wall” is right in front of the hotel. It’s beautiful to walk, run or bike there.

The hotel doesn’t seem to have any soundproofing or reasonable double glazing. We could hear exactly and clearly what the couple were doing in the room above us. A large group of people gathered outside the property, directly below our room at 1.30am, until approximately 4.30am, they were just having fun, but noisy, as if we had the window open, very poor double glazing. There was mould in the base of the shower and what looked like toothpaste left in the plastered wall above the sink. The tap needed repairing. We were given the impression that we could park on the street easily, not the case. Very difficult at weekends. Our booking included a bottle of wine, this was not available, we were told that our room type didn’t include this, when we said we booked through Expedia and it was listed in our booking, we were told that it was something g the previous management offered and no longer available. We were offered a 50% reduction on the mini bar, but didn’t have much and couldn’t find a price list. The property was in a great location. It was easy to access Luca and walk round the wall etc. We would go back to Luca, but would not stay in this property again.

We had an amazing stay in Luca. Our room at “Inside the wall” was perfect! Easy to walk to everything in side the wall of Old city of Lucca. We can’t wait to come back.
