“This is a basic but functional unit, with a fridge/stove/dishwasher/outdoor grill, and cooking/eating basics. We stayed for one night. The location is excellent if your destination is Taquamenon Falls or the Whitefish Bay area. We especially liked the ease of self check-in as well as the fire pit and chairs in the back. “Spacious, comfortable, with parking for a pickup and trailer, plus additional vehicles. Enclosed ramp leading to main level door is very nice for access and getting out of the weather. Spacious kitchen, dining, and living room areas. Master bed room on main level and two bedrooms and a bathroom on the lower level. About 6 miles north of Newberry so you're out of town, but not too far for a trip into town. Really good communications with the hosts (we had power outages that affected the area……

“Our second time here did not disappoint. It is the perfect get away & so completely tranquil with the view of Lake Superior from the back deck, Lake access that allowed us to snorkel & swim and now there are kayaks to use, which made the trip that much more wonderful. I napped in the hammock everyday & ate Lake Superior Whitefish every night. It’s our favorite cabin in the UP. Side note - Host, Jason, is awesome! ”

“our group really enjoyed this farmhouse! beautiful finishes in bathrooms and kitchen. plenty of space for all the kids to play. very clean. balcony off the master bedroom was so peaceful. house sits way back in the woods. we did have some trouble getting our trailers back there and parking everything. we had 3 truck with long long trailers, and a transit van. tight squeeze but we fit. there is extra parking on property but it sits closer to the road, we just didn’t want to have our……

“It was a great property. Centrally located for good tourism opportunities. The house had pretty much everything we needed, other than a mop. If we come back, I would definitely bring a baby gate to keep my small child safe.”

“A beautiful and quiet modern getaway! The host was very hospitable and quick to respond! One of our friends had to work remotely, and he said the WiFi was very good. Beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked like a charm! We especially loved relaxing and enjoying s’mores by the fire. “We had a little snafu with the property we were supposed to stay in. Well before we got there, the onwer got into contact with us, explained the situation, and offered a replacement property, a bigger house than we had booked. A few miles from where we had planned, but not enough to matter and more than made up by the replacement house. Very nice house ,wifi is a bit slow (its the UP, it's common), well stocked. Excellent owner, great communication. Would definitely rent from her again. ”
