"Overall a great stay, central and extremely nice staff. Rooms were great but low ceilings in rooms 1 and 2. Hallway carpets needs some TLC. "

"Lovely hotel built into three adjoining buildings, which required a bit of exploration to find my room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Probably due to the age of the property and the nature of the building, the walls between rooms are quite thin and I could hear my neighbours moving and talking very clearly. I would still stay here again as it’s very conveniently located for exploring the city and for good public transport access."

"Quadruple room was spotless and bathroom had two sinks and a walk-in shower. We even enjoyed a complementary continental breakfast served in the lobby, which we were not expecting. The hotel’s location is perfect, as it is close to shopping and restaurants and walking distance to all attrractions."

"Hotel Villa Maïa offers a stunning view of Lyon and the river. The staff are warm, courteous, and genuinely friendly. Rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and very comfortable. It’s quiet at night, making it ideal for restful sleep. The train station is just a few minutes’ walk away, though there are no shops nearby. The hotel has an indoor pool and a gym. The downside is the surrounding area has no shops or eateries nearby. "
