“The location was excellent, loads of history, the development of the site and apartment are to a high standard and there are plenty of good restaurants. Although car parking is available it can be a bit of a problem for people with mobility problems. However we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend this location.”

“Overall experience is nice. We stayed in room 5 for 3 nights. It would be feel better if the walls refurbish, replace the old boiler and unusable cooking pan and pot. Also, the exhaust fan In the bathroom should be clean regularly. All the staffs are very nice and helpful.”

Das Mobiliar war teilweise grob selbstgebaut Das Frühstück war gut und das Abendessen war auch sehr gut. ”

“As previous reviews had mentioned, the outside of the property left a little to be desired but once through the door we were suitably impressed. Room was very comfortable and secure plus it was a bonus to have the use of the kitchen and facilities, all of which were spotless. Communications from the owner were spot on throughout so really couldn't fault our stay. We took a wrong turning to find the car park but ended up stumbling on off-road parking just a street away where the restriction……

“Lovely peaceful place. In beautiful surroundings. Very attentive helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Modern shower-room. Good wifi. Views of sheep and hills. Very close to Buckfast Abbey conference centre. They also have a courtesy minivan to collect from stations or give lifts if anyone wants a trip away without a car (but I didn't use that as I had my bike - which was accomodated nicely). Faultless. ”

“Pros: - The host is very lovely, attentive and makes you feel at home, - nice home cooked breakfast with classic english, vegetarian, continental options, - located close to main Plymouth attractions, - room is good size and well equipped with functional furniture (hangers chairs, bed side lights) and consumables (tea station, bathroom consumables, even cotton buds) - clean. Cons: - the property walls, ceiling, furniture, soft furnishings, bathroom white goods are clean but dated (cca 90s),……
