Nice hotel near the station, buzzing restaurant and bar and lots of wine. Breakfast was comprehensive and plentiful, staff lovely, parking in station across the road was inexpensive, town has multiple dining and drinking options and is only a short walk away.

I enjoyed the proximity to the train station. The hotel is located right next to Valkenburg train station and just 10 minutes by train from Maastricht train station. The double room was spacious. The walls are painted dark brown. They seem intimidating. The refrigerator didn't work. In the room I found three worried beetles. The price during the Vrijthof concerts in Maastricht is overpriced. Nevertheless, the hotel is a good option.

We found the room clean and comfortable although the heating/cooling unit in the room slightly noisy. An additional electric portable radiator was available in the room which maybe was there due to this issue. Staff very friendly and helpful. Using the railway station parking was only 7€ a day and only across the road so a better price than the on site price. The bar a great selection of wines as per the theme but also local beers and the normal selection of spirits.

Across the street from RR station. 15 minute walk to main Christmas markets, excellent staff. RR Station unmanned Sunday mornings, which was a hassle when my train got cancelled and i had to "wing it" to get to Brussels.

Aanbevolen locatie, loopafstand van het stadscentrum, tegenover het station. Goed restaurant met mooie gerechten en wijnen. Ook prima ontbijt echt veel waarde voor je geld !

Fijn verblijf

Fijn hotel! Wij verbleven in de superior villa met sauna. Deze is echter niet in het hotel zelf maar in een gebouw er naast van het hotel. Dus voor ontbijt moet je buitenom lopen om bij het ontbijt te komen. Verder wel alles netjes en hygiënisch. Tegenover het station. Wij hebben geparkeerd bij het p+r van het station want dat zou goedkoper zijn dan bij het hotel. Alles was op loopafstand, wat heel fijn was.

Ontzettend fijn verblijft gehad in het wellness appartement. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Groot nadeel was wel dat de kamer naast de ingang van het hotel zit en elke keer de deur hard dicht viel in het slot. Ik ben er echt paar keer wakker van geworden. Sowieso is dat al vervelend, maar zeker in een wellness kamer wil je rust hebben.

Liked the location. Dislikes included some lights not working in the room, person checking me out was clueless, absolutely no Wi-Fi signal in the room but was available in the hallway, different pieces of wall trim both in the hallway and room were hanging loose and shower barely worked. One of the worse hotels I have ever stayed at.

Goed hotelletje

Hotelletje dichtbij het centrum van Valkenburg met betalende parkeergelegenheid (buitenparking was 5 euro, binnenparking is mogelijk, maar duurder) (ook P+R parking heel dichtbij). We gingen naar Thermae 2000 en zakten 's avonds af naar dit hotel. Kamer was goed en proper. Pluspunt was een gezellig balkon aan de kamer. Het ontbijt was heel lekker. Mogelijks verblijven we hier een volgende keer weer.
