Really nice place with the most fantastic view. Close to small local town and easy access to small grocery store. We enjoyed our stay which was perfect for us - spacious, beautiful surroundings and close to levadas. Only complaint is the lack of light in kitchen and bathroom - a bit too dark.

Beauty and Peace
We enjoyed the location, up in the hills, quiet, and away from busy areas. The views from the two balconies were ever changing and beautiful. The property was clean and as a family of four we had plenty of space. The weather in August was perfect in that it was not too hot. We had some rain and glorious shifting clouds which, as we had photographers in our group, was fine.
What we found challenging in the extreme was driving up and down the hills. We rented a car, arranging this prior to arrival, one with an engine strong enough to climb the steep roads, however the car was a little too large for the narrow roads and it was scary driving as we are not used to the steepness.
