「On the morning of October 1st we were caught in a heavy downpour at Machu Picchu and ended up completely soaked. Even though we had already checked out, we went back to the Inkaterra front desk in the afternoon to ask for help. The two ladies and one gentleman who received us were absolutely wonderful — warm, attentive, and very efficient. 「I came to Hacienda Roman knowing that in this part of Peru, you can't expect all the amenities like WiFi, cable TV, etc. If you go in with reasonable expectations, you'll be happy with this hotel. The pros: Staff are quite nice. Food is tasty and available fresh on site. Personal attention, especially the tour of the coffee/jungle out back, is phenomenal. The entire stay was worth it just for this!! The cons: Cooking is unbelievably slow; it took us no less than 1.5 hours to finish a meal...
