“We loved staying in the Mackinac Palace! We appreciated the quietness of being in Saint Ignace. The house was clean, spacious and accommodated our family very nicely. “Beach front cabin could not be beat for location and the cabin was clean and a great home base for all things Mackinaw city within walking distance, including the ferry to Mackinac Island. Beach is rocky in places, so be sure to bring some good water shoes! Access to the amenities of the nearby hotels was also a nice bonus, although some of the hotel facilities are a bit dated and have some deferred maintenance. “We loved the cabin and its location! The cabin was very clean and fully stocked! We had six of us total and all felt very comfortable. The instant access to the snowmobile trail was a big hit, plus getting the snowmobiles on the lake and doing some ice fishing made for the icing on the cake! We hope to rent again in the future! ”
