It felt great to get out of Funchal and be somewhere more ‘relaxing.’ With that said, you still have access to restaurants / market, etc. Additionally, there is so much to do in the area. "Stayed here for 6 nights and it was a very cozy place! Pedro and his father Marcello were wonderful hosts and were always around to help. The room was very clean and facilities were adequate, however, the walls in the hostel are rather thin though, so it was noisy at times. Location is good and it's a 10-15 mins walk to the city center. Would stay here again!"
