「Easy check in system, though, if you're not yet comfortable starting your car off uphill, just turn it further up the hill before parking opposite the gate where you get your keys from the box. Overall spotlessly clean, the communal kitchen is well equipped, the host is friendly and replies in no time. The location lies ideally for any adventure.」

「I booked this hotel for a 5 night stay in Madeira but wanted somewhere with parking so had to go a bit outside the main city. Hotel has easy parking, the rooms were clean and well presented. Staff were super friendly and always happy to answer questions. I had a meal at the restaurant one night too which was good. The walk down to the city was easy enough. The walk back up was a little harder (given up hill all the way) but great for my exercise and fitness. Breakfast was standard Europe...

「Ramshackle hotel - when the wind blew everything was shaking. The patio is nice and the breakfast is fine. Parking is difficult but it seems that’s how it is everywhere」
