「It's a beautiful historic building on Lake Superior, but you wouldn't know the building is old by the updates in the room. Everything was clean, comfortable and in good condition. Baseboard heat eliminated the loud blowing noise from a wall-mount unit such as those in most hotels. Breakfast had great selection and overall quality, but should have been warmer.」

「Landed here late at night after my previous reservation in nearby Hurly didn’t answer. The man at the front desk was wonderful and even gave me some spring water from by the lake for me and my dog. Turned a really bad night around after driving 40 miles in the snow from the original “hotel”. The pool area looks really fun, I would absolutely stay here again. 」

「This is such a cute cabin! Kristin has thought of EVERYTHING to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. The cabin is very well appointed with everything you need. The stairs to the loft are a little steep, our dog figured out sleeping close to the fire was more cozy than upstairs with us anyway! It wouldn't matter what time of year you visited this would make a great base for exploring a beautiful area. Thanks Kristin we hope to be back someday! 」

「A great northwoods WI cabin with location being an added bonus. Chequamegon bay is accessible from your doorstep and a short drive will take you to Ashland, Washburn or Bayfield. The cabin was clean, well stocked and beds were comfortable. Great communication with host who also provided excellent information for the area. The cabin was a perfect central location for us to drive to our different hikes in the area we had picked out prematurely. Cannot recommend this place enough. 」

「The location of the Guest House was perfect! Everything in downtown Bayfield was walkable, but removed enough where it was still private. The Superior Suite was spacious for my husband and me.
