“We chose this area for how close it was to Hanging Rock. However, it rained very hard almost the whole time we were there. But the house was so comfortable that we really enjoyed just hanging out there. Very clean, with a lot of thoughtful details (spices, teas, coffee) and the sheets on the bed were so soft and amazing! The hosts were very easy to message and we always got a quick response. Would definitely go back!”

“I was surprisingly amazed at the cottage. Also, I was shocked at it having only one television. We had a great time even though we didn't catch any fish in the pond. It was exceptionally clean. We loved the fresh eggs. In conclusion, this one place we enjoyed.”

“House was super cute. Tiny but a perfect size for 3. We spent most of our time in family room and sun room. Had a good area to sit and snack or eat. We didn’t use any of the kitchen as we did not cook except to microwave a few items. Owner message me back immediately after I let him know I couldn’t find something. Maybe remove box springs on beds and go with just a slat bottom. Very squeaky. Not a ton of sink top space that made it tricky getting ready. Only issue but being a small older house……

“We had a great stay in this cottage. It was perfect for 2 people. They had supplies you always forget to pack including shampoo/conditioner! The best part was having good coffee from a keurig!! It was hands down much better than a hotel and waking up in the wooded area and seeing deers in the morning was so great! Communication was quick with owners as well! Thank you!! If we are ever in that area again, I would absolutely stay again. 🙂”

“The house was 1-3 minutes from all our activities. It was a great place to come rest and recharge. Hosts were attentive. We had plenty of towels for the weekend and the queen bed in the master was comfortable! Enjoyed drinking my coffee out on the patio in the morning and the kids cought fireflies at night. The neighbors were nice and even let us pet their dog. All in all a great stay!”

“Overall it was a great house. However the welcome book was not available or I could not find it so I was unable to figure out the WiFi. The big screen tv in the living room was broken before I got there and the property manger informed me that they had put a small screen tv in its place. It was very small. This was not a big deal to me as I do watch much tv but I could see how it could be an inconvenience to someone else. Otherwise we had a pleasant time. Thank you”

“The stay was nice with the exception of our checkin time being pushed back from 4:00 to 6:30! It is completely unacceptable that it was not ready and very inconvenient for us. ”

“The open concept kitchen-living-dining was perfect for our family gathering. The house appeared to be less than 5 years old and is a perfect “movie like” neighborhood. They also decorated it for Christmas with a tree and a wreath along with a few pieces here and there made our Christmas to New Year’s Eve celebration even homier. Our concerns were minor: have 2 sets of towels for all 8 guests, add enough plates, cups, mugs, salad plates and silverware for 12, add kitchen towels, add a pizza……

“The house was not in a good neighborhood. Major issues: Chained dog barked all night, the washing machine didn’t work, had to call to find the linens which were stored in a file cabinet in a bedroom, showed up during check in time and cleaning staff was still there, hardly any dishes on site so forget about cooking a meal there. Place was a disappointment at best, especially for the overall cost.”

“Great place, close to recreational activities. A short drive to the city. Perfect for us. Nice enclosed outdoor sitting area to enjoy coffee, fresh cut flowers and snacks a great touch. Eric and Karen are great hosts.”

“I stayed with my son at this property for a week while he swam at the Nationals Swim Meet at the Greensboro swim coliseum. The property was perfect for us--a 10 minute drive from the venue, but in an established, safe neighborhood surrounded by beautiful trees and plentiful walking paths. It is walkable to great local restaurants and coffee shops, and a short drive to great shopping, dining, grocery stores (Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, etc.). Highly recommend. We'll definitely be back!!”
