"A little B&B run by a nice couple. Super convenient to the Penzance rail station. (Literally 2 minutes on foot) Great value, great breakfast. In my room the ceiling fan was a bit wonky, but otherwise no problems. I would definitely consider staying again."

"We really enjoyed our stay and although there were a few issues that staff needed to improve on, once we drew reception's attention to these they were remedied. The hotel is pretty well maintained and very clean and is in a great sea front location with fabulous sea views. Breakfast was good."

"Lovely hotel and location with friendly helpful staff. The room was very clean with lovely sea views. The restaurant and bar area were very pleasant. I would have been happy to give 5 stars but the meal at the hotel on the first night was appalling and the group did not eat there again. The cooked breakfast on the first morning was greasy and unpleasant. Subsequent mornings it was better."

"Loved staying at this Shepherd's Hut! We wouldn't normally book a 'hut' but were captivated by the photos and liked the extra space with a separate sleeping section. Stayed 5 nights. This is a special place with it's private, secluded garden and attention to detail. Beautifully laid out, very clean, comfortable, and everything you need - plus a welcome pack! There is a stone path and steps to the property which is quite magical but might not suit everyone. Host provided all details in advance with a local contact if needed. Don't let proximity to the main road put you off - an occasional sound of a lorry or motor bike but otherwise so quiet and relaxing. Close to Penzance with it's fabulous, independent shops, galleries and cafes and Newlyn with galleries and amazing seafood shops, fresh off the boats. Lots to do in the area. Would definitely recommend and hope to return."

"This place is great!! It is very convenient to the train and bus station. The view is incredible. We stayed for 5 nights and used local transportation to get around. Local public transportation was very easy and reasonable. We enjoyed the coastal hiking trails to St. Michael's Mount and to Mousehole. We used the bus and train to travel to places like St. Ives and Land's End and Porthcourno. Simon, our host was very responsive each time we had a question. The property was very clean. Check in and check out was very easy. We asked to store our luggage after checking out and Simon was able to accommodate our request. We would definitely stay here again if we have the chance to return to Penzance."

"What a fantastic cottage it was amazing the condition the fittings and what a welcome pack. I highly recommend this cottage private garden with a gas barbeque which I used on three occasions treated the barbeque with respect by using foil on the griddles. The lounge was so relaxing with a high quality TV and smart box. Bedrooms and bathroom and a shower room downstairs. Stayed for 2 weeks and the owner even asked if I wanted a mid stay clean!! and fresh towels wow. Highly recommend you will not be disappointed. Andrew Bridport Dorset"
