“Great introduction to glamping for us. If anything, spoilt. Hot tub, log burner inside the yurt. It was nice to get away and do absolutely nothing. Wish we done a couple of nights ”

“My Friends and I stayed at Cosgrove Cottage over the weekend just gone, and it was nothing short of magical. The setting is simply beautiful, right on the edge of the Forest. The marketing photos do not do it justice, you have to see it to believe it. The presentation of the actually property was immaculate and the Owners were very possibly the nicest people I have ever met. Warm, welcoming and extremely accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. The Tour of the Grounds was informative but……

“Enjoyed our stay, cottage is welcoming and attention to detail appreciated. Very clean and everything you need is thought of. Garden is nice and well kept. Only down side is having no parking, but owner has arranged parking at nearby water park, but this was a little problematic for us. There is quite a bit of road noise as it’s on a relatively busy road, but maybe we notice it more as we live in a very rural location with no traffic and are not used to it. But would def stay again, thank you.……

“Cottage was really nice to stay at for our 10 day England trip. Bathrooms being updated was nice and the beds were very comfortable. Being positioned on a golf course off the main road made for quiet nights. The bistro next door with the included 10% discount for staying at the cottage was excellent for breakfast and evening drinks. Perfect little picturesque and quaint cottage. ”

“We needed a property big enough to accommodate 13 people and Bellropes was perfect. Great kitchen, big enough to seat everyone and fully equipped with everything we needed. Garden was huge and being able to get to the beach was an added bonus, if a little further away than the 5 minutes stated.Would definitely recommend for large families wanting a homely place to get-together.Garde ”

“My favorite place I’ve stayed out of all my vacations! It was matical! Very clean, and beautiful craftsmanship. The property was private and relaxing, check in was simple and easy, and the stay as a whole was beautiful and peaceful. Want to come back to England just to stay here again.”

“The host of this home was very responsive. This home was just as described and look just like the pictures. Our kids enjoyed the game room in the back garden. All the local pubs were within walking distance in the water was also a nice walk. Everyone in the town is very friendly. One night we were late to town and all the pubs had closed and we had to cook in the kitchen and had everything we needed. The weather was lovely and we had take out from the nearest pub and dined outside in the garden……

“Very well appointed and located - pretty wrap around garden with sun at different times of day- close to jetty where grandsons loved crabbing and yummy unpretentious seafood restaurants.Only reservation for some could be 2 flights of steep stairs to 2 of 3 bedrooms with only bathroom and loo downstairs— but cottage dates from 1575 so don’t expect en-suites! - what you do get is character and comfort. ”

“First impression - "Wow, this is nice!" This continued throughout our stay. This feels like a home, not a holiday rental. Somebody cares about it. There was nothing we didn't like, but we were especially impressed by Helen's clear, helpful and comprehensive notes that she provided both before we arrived and within the property. We have stayed in over 50 holiday homes and rate this at the top of our list of favourites. ”

"Close to Stansted airport. Bear in mind £4 per trip to and from airport. Breakfast included. So very good for value. In general it’s a but dated. McDonald’s and M&S food hall just a min walk away. For a brief stay to catch an early flight. Very good choice. "
