「We were given a warm welcome on arrival; always found a space to park in the car park; loved the location (right next to the river). No complaints about the room, bed or en suite, with all being clean, comfortable etc. Great breakfasts provided if required. All in all, excellent value for money, and most likely where we will return to next time we are in the neighbourhood.」

「Loved the position of the rooms, overlooking the hills. No stairs. Large facilities. Offload parking, no charge. Lovely staff, nothing too much trouble Ate at the pub, good selection of pub food and drinks. Would have liked complimentary shower gel.」

「The Hotel was very cosy, lots of “stuff everywhere” on the walls etc, so very individual if that’s your thing. Room was small but had everything, staff were polite and efficient, food good etc.」

「Really lovely staff, lovely room and great food. Only point to note is that the accomodation is above the pub, so if you go to bed early this may not be the place for you as some of the bar sounds can be heard until closing time.」

「Lovely old pub in beautiful location, excellent breakfast, with home made preserves. The dinner menu looked very exciting but sadly we were dining elsewhere. Staff most helpful, carrying luggage and providing information. There is an onsite brewery! The night was extremely hot, so difficult to sleep, but very comfortable bed and well equipped room. The bathroom could have done with refurbishment to the tiling and taps, but was acceptable. There is a large parking area, by the river garden.」
