If you’re looking for the latest updated room and amenities, this won’t be it but because we were visiting family in the area this place was a perfect location. Many dining options are available within walking distance. Best breakfast option is Maryann’s a 5 minute walk away. Would definitely stay there again when visiting family.

First of all we searched for hotels in Salem MA and this one in Salem NH was in the list and we accidentally chose it. 45 min instead of 20 from destination. Second, outside scapes and condition were all nice and we were hopeful from reviews. But we smelled cigarettes from doorway into room. Dark brown carpet old enough to be sketch. Thin sheets, small towels, no conditioner. There were no other rooms to switch to, I checked, which would only have covered the smell issue—maybe. I would not spend another night there. We were there about 12 hrs. Staff was nice.

Clean and quiet premises and a good sized room. Very convenient location to stop at when driving to Boston from the north. Several stores and restaurants nearby. Staff was nice and we saw bunnies and a wild turkey. What’s not to love!

I like that then property has a local architectural feel and not modern commercial like. I was invited with a nice scent when I entered the room. Furnitures are old, but sturdy luxurious and detailed. It has a microwave, hair dryer, and refrigerator, which I needed. Surprisingly, it has a TV with programs in it. They also have a sofa and furniture that is home like. Paint and interior finishes are of very good quality, not like a Motel 6. The only complaint is that the walls are thin, so I can overhear my neighbors noises. Also the bathroom door doesn’t shut. However, this is a five star resort that is super super affordable. Love it.
